About the
Annapolis Valley Home Builders' Association
The Annapolis Valley Home Buildersą Association (AVHBA) was formed in 1992 to increase the level of professionalism within the construction industry. Members benefit from ongoing construction safety training, technical research, professional builder certification and other programs. The end result is a professional builder/renovator who can offer more to their customers. AVHBA members are among the industry leaders in issues involving Workersą Compensation, Safety and Building Codes. Our award-winning 1996 Renovation Demonstration Projectą *(a national program spearheaded by NRCan and CMHC) is one example of our association at work.
