"Burn It Smart" in the Annapolis Valley begins January 26, 2002 at the County Fair Mall in New Minas Nova Scotia.Come and see the difference between a conventional woodstove and a new clean burning, EPA approved woodstove at our out door burn display!

Burn It Smart safe woodburning workshops will be held in Kings and Annapolis counties as noted below. Come and check out our expert presenters,outdoor burn display and door prizes.


Plus the kids can enter our coloring contest and win some great prizes


7:00 - 7:30pm Bring in a piece of your own firewood for a moisture reading.

7:30 -9:00pm Workshop with woodburning industry experts.

The Annapolis Valley Woodstove Changeout Program and our participating hearth products dealers are offering a rebate program for residents of the Annapolis and Kings county who may be wishing to replace their non-EPA listed woodstove and replace it with a safer more efficient EPA listed woodstove or pellet appliance.Look for 'Burn it Smart' displays at your local hearth products dealer from January 26 2002 to March 8 2002. Don't delay, numbers are limited!
